The fast growing food sector always been accredited to our food professionals, with a deep understanding that in order to improve the lives of our people we must support the food industry professional to have excellence in working culture to keep our promise for a safe and healthy food and lifestyle.

Our team evidently understand that how we drive is just as crucial as what we accomplish. It is through the spirit of teamwork and strong sense of vision that we stride towards our vision, mission and goals.

Historically we have witnessed many technological disruptions in the food sector that have wiped out entire industries. Operational agility is most essential in order to keep up with the speed of change and need to pivot across all areas of food business.

Although we are focused on our core services and targets, today we must recognize that Arabian Society of Food Professionals has not identified itself as being technical forum, but rather a service provider and knowledge sharing platform. One that enhances all areas of its stakeholder interest adapting them to the ever-changing inter-regional connectivity and healthy lifestyle era.

Our food professionals come first; identifying their needs and wants is the driving force that pulls us towards our eagerness to deliver.

Hand in hand we take the journey to pioneer the way in this fast paced environment as we pave the way towards creating value for all our industrial stakeholders and truly honor our vision towards a healthy and safe world.

VICE CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE

WE MUST SERVE OUR PROFESSIONALS AND OUR FOOD COMMUNITIES BY NETWORKING REGIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY INTO A WELL-CONNECTED, EASILY ACCESSIBLE AND LEARNING BASED HUB FOR ANYONE.

Rami Abu Ghazala

Vice Chairman Private Sector

This new world needs are increasingly demand sharing the food in a way to reduce the food wastage, increase the industrial product and sustainability. Products with the inherent agility to take advantage of today’s application economy, where customers are more likely to experience a brand through a software app than a person. Developing and delivering superior user experiences that engage food professional has become table stakes. And networking and learning is a key principle in this process that says there is no end, only an evolving, ever-present, ever-expanding development.

Leaning and development also drives efficiencies for our food professionals by enabling them to quickly assess how technologies are performing within traditional manufacturing, catering, retail and hospitality environments. This, in turn, enables food professionals to easily optimize resource utilization and minimize unnecessary expenditures.

My interest in the Arab Society of Food Professionals is to make this platform, not as a networking and sharing the knowledge but also a station of modern day technology innovation and supporting hub for all the food professionals around the region.

My office will be ever open for any support and facilitation for any member of this society.

VICE CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE

WHAT MAKES ASOFP UNIQUE? SIMPLE. IT’S THE PEOPLE, the food professionals

Dr. Rami

Vice Chairman Academic Sector

In the world of food industry you get asked lots of difficult questions. But there is one that I find easy to answer. When I hear, “What makes ASOFP unique,” my response is simple: IT’S THE FOOD PROFESSIONALS

I’ve been fortunate enough to gain experience in other leading organizations, but I have never met so many talented individuals, dedicated to the food industry future, as I have since I joined Arab Society of Food Professionals.

Their passion for positive change goes right to heart of the challenges facing our food industry today. But it reaches much further than that. Together we can help the industry and meet the expectations of consumers, who demand greater innovation, value, food safety, food security and transparency than ever before.

We continue to nurture this unmatched passion for food professional networking and knowledge sharing. In the coming months and years, we will bring more super-talented ASOFP members to bolster our team, not only from Arab World but also from international community. We shall ensure that everyone who joins the ASOF, enjoys the very best learning environment, encouragements and relationship so that everyone contribute fully to the success of our Arab Society of Food Professionals.

What do the coming months and years hold? First of all I believe that ASOFP is perfectly positioned to support food sector and new food professional.

For this – and many other reasons – I’m very excited and proud to a part of Arab Society of Food Professionals; prouder still to be working with such a talented group of people
